Gilbert serves clients in a wide variety of employment and civil litigation matters.
Prior to joining the firm, he practiced as an intellectual property attorney in Madison, Wisconsin.
Gilbert graduated from both the University of Wisconsin School of Law and School of Education. During law school, Gilbert worked as a Student Attorney at the University of Wisconsin Law School’s Law & Entrepreneurship clinic where he advised start-ups on labor laws and the various intellectual property rights available to them. While concurrently enrolled in his JD program, Gilbert studied and worked as a research and teacher assistant to the former dean of the School of Education, where he assisted her in preparing and leading discussions in Special Education Law and Public School Law courses. Prior to law school, Gilbert completed a year of service with City Year AmeriCorps where he tutored for 8th Grade English in San Antonio, Texas.
